Bookings, cancellations & payments policy

Dr Edwina prescribes the very best in modern clinical treatments, dermal therapies and aesthetic skin improvements to elevate your finest features. Dr Edwina strives to ensure that every patient enjoys their experience whilst receiving skilled advice designed to achieve exceptional results. For this reason, a policy on booking fees, appointment reschedules & cancellations is outlined below:

Booking Fee:

Appointments with Dr Edwina Morgan are in high demand and we aim to keep the daily schedule running like clockwork to minimise any waiting time. We know your time is important! With that in mind, a small booking fee will apply for some treatment types booked online. Our website will indicate when a deposit is taken for a treatment consultation.

In addition, there may be a $100 booking fee for certain treatments scheduled during high demand, peak periods. Naturally, this amount will be redeemed when you attend your scheduled consultation.

A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings over 30 minutes.

Cancellations or Rescheduling:

Dr Edwina’s appointments fill very quickly, due to her experience and reputation for best-in-class results. If you need to change your appointment, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible so we can provide you with a rescheduled appointment for your convenience and that other patients from our waiting list may access the consultation slot instead.

  • Appointments rescheduled or cancelled with 48 hour’s notice will not incur a fee.

  • Appointments rescheduled or cancelled less than 48 hours prior to your appointment will incur a fee of $100.

  • Regrettably, appointment ‘no shows’ will also incur a $100 missed appointment fee.

Our booking system provides details to cancel or reschedule your consultation via our online system or via email. Please note that messages left on Sundays or public holidays will only be regarded as lodged the morning of the next business day.

Please arrive on time! Arriving on time, or 5 minutes before your appointment, ensures that you don’t miss a single minute of your consultation. We can’t keep others waiting for their treatments, just as you wouldn’t like to be kept waiting!

Payment:

Unfortunately we don’t offer any payment plans - eg Afterpay etc. Edwina’s practice at Valley Plastic Surgery is currently aligned with the ASPS Code of Practice, which requires practitioners do not enter into any arrangements with patients to assist them in obtaining finance to pay for a procedure, such as offering a credit facility (other than the use of a credit card), introducing the patient to a credit provider or providing information about possible loans.

Some patients choose to book their procedure in advance with a deposit and then schedule regular payments towards their treatment fee prior to their consultation date.

Treatment Terms, Conditions and Refund Policy

  • In order for Dr Edwina Morgan to provide you with a great service it is fundamental that you provide all information requested in completing consent forms or advising of any factors that may affect your treatments. The patient also needs to have realistic expectations of the results of treatment. Dr Edwina encourages patients to thoroughly discuss what may be achieved during the patient’s treatment. Expectations will not always be met due to several factors.

  • The patient must clearly understand that their payment is for the procedure(s) performed during the term of the agreement (ie treatment consultation) and not for any specific result. NO RESULT IS GUARANTEED. The patient understands that results will vary.

  • Additional treatments may be obtained at an additional price.

  • Any and all medical cosmetic injectable services which are administered are not refundable. Every patient will utilise the Botox or Dysport anti wrinkle product, Kybella or dermal fillers differently. The risk of ptosis, raised muscle, lower muscle, swelling, redness or vascular occlusion will be thoroughly explained prior to treatment. Any allergic reaction will be treated and any event of an allergic reaction or adverse reaction is a risk with every client. Experiencing such an event will not constitute a refund of the completed treatment.

  • The patient agrees to the injection treatment knowing the risk and has realistic expectations of the results and risk. Medications are administered as approved and ordered by the medical provider. Needles have a great risk of causing trauma and bruising along with swelling, redness and tenderness. These reactions are expected and normal with aesthetic injectables. Aesthetic medications are administered by a certified aesthetic injection provider and include on-label and off-label treatment areas based on the patient’s desire and need, as ordered.

  • Dr Edwina Morgan’s procedures and products may not be suitable for you and whilst all due care and skill is exercised in treating patients, ultimately it is the patient’s responsibility to determine if the product or treatment is right for them.

  • Refunds will be provided where required in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Dr Edwina Morgan does not refund for change of mind, and/or unrealistic expectations not being met. Results will be discussed in the patient’s consultation and the best treatment option will be carefully discussed prior to any treatment taking place.
